Welcome to my home!
(I am really bad at taking photos. Sorry! ^^; )
My house is in the countryside. There is no public transit or taxis, or even sidewalks. If you want to go anywhere, you have to drive~
Although many American houses are two (or even three) stories, my house has only story. It is an average-sized house, or maybe even a little on the small side.
Let's go inside~
Our house has a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
Hehe ^^
This is our living room. In the winter we use the fireplace to keep warm. It runs on wood, not gas or electric, so my dad has to cut up and store logs during rest of the year.
We made a lot of the decorations for my sister's wedding ourselves. My sister made all of those paper flowers.
And who's that under the desk??
Hi, Isabell~ =^ㅇㅅㅇ^=
This is the dining room ^^ The wood floors are really new. Before we had carpet in the dining room and linoleum in the kitchen.
My mom always complains that our kitchen is too small. Does it look big compared to the kitchen in Korean apartments? ^^ My favorite thing in the kitchen is the dishwasher...
The plant needed some water ㅋ
Hello, Dylan!
Can you see my mom's feet in the background? In the States, some people wear shoes in the house. Whether you wear shoes inside varies by family, so there are actually lots of people who don't. My parents usually do, but I don't like to.
Hmm... whose bedroom is this??
When I was in high school, my bedroom walls were covered with K-pop posters.... My mom made me take them all down when I moved out.
This is our backyard. Because it hasn't rained much lately, all the grass turned brown ㅠㅠ Usually it's really green!
Lots of flowers~
Bees really like the tall purple flowers ^^
When I was little this was a swing set. Now my mom uses it for hanging plants or drying laundry.
Did you enjoy my tour? ^^ If you have any questions about American homes, please ask!
I want to make a post about American weddings, too. But during my sister's wedding I was part of the ceremony, so I couldn't take many pictures ㅠㅠ I think I will have to wait until I can get pictures from someone else...
I will try to think of a topic to make another post soon~
